Group classes are great for learning new material, getting lots of reps in and meeting other students, but private lessons are where the magic happens!

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a partner to join a class?

No, you don’t need a partner! Our classes are designed to be inclusive, and we encourage everyone to come and dance. You’ll have the opportunity to meet new people and dance with different partners throughout the class.

How should I prepare for class?

Plan to arrive a few minutes early to get settled. We recommend bringing dance shoes or comfortable clean shoes to change into, as well as a water bottle to stay hydrated. Dress comfortably so you can move freely!

What if I don’t have any dance experience?

That’s perfectly fine! We welcome beginners in all of our Level 1 and Open Level classes. Our instructors are here to guide you every step of the way, so come ready to learn and have fun!

What the heck is zouk?

A fair question! Zouk is a partner dance that originated in the Caribbean and has roots in Brazilian music. It features smooth, flowing movements, and signature head movements and is known for its connection between partners. If you’re curious about trying something new, zouk is a fantastic choice!
